Eleanor began her wine career at 21 years old in Miami, FL. After working at a wine bar and taking a course on wine at her local college, she decided to make the move into a full-time wine career. She moved to Oregon in 2016 to pursue this, applying for harvest positions for the 2016 Harvest in Oregon. She was hired by a small winery in the Willamette Valley: Et Fille Wines. She went on to work for them for 4 years, both in production and managing the tasting room and wine club.
She returned to her home-town of Minneapolis and began with Rootstock March 2020. She hopes to continue her wine career in her home state and help raise Minnesotan’s passion and awareness of great wines.
