Lauren’s love for the hospitality industry comes from 14 years in the catering and events world, working in the Twin Cities and then New York City. While working as an event planner in New York City, she enrolled in an entry-level wine course to learn more about creating standout food and wine pairings for her clients, but quickly discovered her passion for wine was going to lead her fully into the wine business.
Lauren is now a proud recipient of the WSET Level 3 Award and currently enrolled in the long process of completing the WSET Diploma Level. After returning to her home state of Minnesota, she joined the Rootstock Wine Co team, working directly with our many incredible wine producers all around the world. Her favorite part of the job is getting such personal exposure to the wine’s culture, the people that create it, and being a part of the journey to get it into a Minnesotan’s glass.
